Lovesac Emerges into ATX SXSW

With half of America in my way it was a 4-day trip to get to Austin, TX.  Before I go any further I feel I should introduce myself, after all we will be traveling across the country together.  My name is Charlie, the Road King of Lovesac (actually on my business card); I travel nonstop all year round running events and hanging out in stores.  Chances are if you have seen the bus in the last year I was behind the wheel or giving you a tour of our pimped out pad.    

Lovesac came to Austin to make our presence known at the annual SXSW Festival by sponsoring ATX Emerge (http://www.atxemerge.com/).  IT WAS A BLAST!  With the help from Adam (Stonebriar Manager) and Austyn, a new promotions member, we completely outfitted ATX Emerge @ Mohawks with Sactionals and Sacs, the place looked amazing!  (Thanks again you two!)  The party had everything, 9 great bands, a super chill DJ, trendy kids, drink and lets not forget phenomenal furniture.  It was a record-breaking night for Mohawk and ATX Emerge at one point there were 1000 lined up trying to get in.  Needless to say we all danced our asses off.  When 2 am rolled around the party was moved to the Lovesac Bus were we shuttled 100s of people to an after party at a cleared our gallery.  It wasn’t until 5am that people decided they were too tired to go on and headed home.  

            The next morning we ran the bus through the streets of Austin all day taking people back and forth from the Freeman Brother Day Party.  Which was a private event hosting some spectacular talent across the Austin film community.  Singer/songwriter Trey Brown headlined the day as people sat down, ate some good food and drank.  We would have people leave the party for hours at a time just so they could hang out on the bus and yell at people through the intercom.  The party wrapped up and we made one last run through 6^th street to give Austin some final love.  We had such a great time and we can’t wait to see you next year!
