March 5, 2009: LA AT&T Cruise Cast Media Tour – Los Angeles
The Lovesac Bus is in LA LA Land!Cruising around LA with its top reporters showcasing the revolutionary AT&T’s Cruise Cast, a live satellite television feed designed for anything and everything mobile.We spent the morning with Winston Guillory, President of RaySat Broadcasting and spokesperson for AT&T Cruise Cast, who led multiple 30-minute tours.The highlight had to be driving through a tunnel on Sepulveda that lasts about a minute without any interruption in the television broadcast.The trick is the Cruise Cast device is able to segment and store its feed so the broadcast is not interrupted when in areas of bad reception.Even though the reporters were intrigued by the quality of the image and size of the device a lot of interest was focused on the Lovesac Bus and Lovesac itself.
Later in the day we hosted the TV Guide television crew and Marc Istook who shot a segment focused around the Lovesac Bus and its high tech devices.What a great crew to work with!Everyone was super relaxed on Sacs and Sactionals as we drove around filming Marc and Winston talked about Cruse Cast’s features and the benefits of using the bus to showcase it to the multiple celebrities that frequent.The interview should be available in the next month on the TV Guide Channel, check it out!
The bus finished the day with a beautiful sunset drive up the coast to tomorrow’s location… North Hollywood.
I have been getting tweets and texts, emails and voicemails from all over the country as the LoveSac Bus is spotted at the hottest parties and events from the left coast to the right, and everyhwere in between. Honestly, you have to hear this--NO, you have to feel this thing thump to understand the true power of the Sac. Riding on the bus puts you in good company too. Celebrites from the (legendary) M.C. Hammer to Vanilla Ice. Young Jeezey to DJ Whoo Kid have felt the power of the LoveSac Bus and have come back for more. Sometimes the Bus is used to cart around diva rockstars & celebrities, other times, we just use it to shuttle people back and forth from downtown Aspen to the slopes of the Winter X-Games....the LoveSac Bus is there to serve you...you just need to get our attention and get us to stop long enough to let you on. I often drive the Bus myself--jump on, say HI. In fact, each winter I spend nearly 2 months driving the bus to every LoveSac Store in the country, selling & training along the way. Right now, Charlie, the fearless sales trainer/promoter/bus expert & long time Sac'r is driving it from west to east, stopping everywhere in between to promote and generally spread the love.
