Recently, TWO of our most important Sac'rs became something much more important than employees....they became customers.
[BEFORE - LEFT]Jeremy Corash runs our top store in the company. He was recently married and bought a bunch of Sactionals to add on to his rare two-tone set up (more people should try this). I couldn't just allow his celebratory furniture to show up FedEx so I made a personal visit to their home in Columbia, Maryland, to unpack it and set it up for him. Just watch it come together... Most of the time our furniture gets used for TV rooms. I have to say, it is nice to see it applied to something new. Nancy's home office turned out awesome. So clean, so simple. The Taupe and Seawater Rhinoplush covers both tied in perfectly with her existing rug. I love that the U-drinks and U-tables (shown in photo left) that were designed for home theater use, come in so handy even in the home office situation.
After getting it all set up, it turns out that Nancy has decided that she wants an arm on the right end of her sectional, instead of the chaise, as it sits now. So, as any Sactionals customer can do, she just needs to order up 2 more Sides and turn that chaised-out Base the other direction, placing one of the extra Sactionals Sides behind it as the "back" and the other to the right of it on the end, as the "arm," and Nancy will have a closed of sectional instead of a left chaise sectional.
THAT'S the power of Sactionals....real furniture for real life.

Shawn, thank you for taking the time to write the email. I greatly appreciate it. I wish more company heads respond to their customers, they show that you care.
I do love my sactionals and Moviesac, they're awesome. Ordering snafus aside, it's by far the best pieces of furniture I've ever bought.

Israel, I apologize, from all of us here at LoveSac. I just emailed you personally to to work this out. It is embarrassing. I really appreciate your specific input.

Shawn,
I'm writing to let you know that I recently had the most horrific customer service experience with your Columbia Mall (Maryland) store.
I spent close to $3K in furniture there, including sactionals, Moviesac and covers. They told me that they can get me the covers from another store (Tysons Corner, VA). I came back to the store 3 more times because each time they would bring back the wrong number of covers.
The staff at Columbia was useless, the guy there didn't even bother to apologize. He keeps on telling me that "I'm just the middle man". I ended up talking to Jeremy Corash, who was in fact helpful, but the fact remains that your people in Columbia couldn't even count right...not once, but several times.
Worse, I tried to call the customer service number from the website. Every single time, I was put on a long hold then go to a voicemail to say I have to call during business hours (even though I'm calling at 2 pm on a Tuesday). I eventually talked to a guy there and he told me that he couldn't help me but he'll take my number so someone from corporate can call me. I never got a call back.
I called back several times, finally got to talk to a Rachel, who's supposed to be one of the managers, who had to call Jeremy. It's one vicious cycle of poor customer service.
My point is that I've never spent so much in furniture in my life and all I could ask for is decent customer service, which I didn't get.
As a result, I will never spend one more dime with Lovesac, and I'm really sorry that I even bought there in the first place.
Your people let you down big time. As a result, you lost a customer for life.

Kumail, Mehak,
Thanks so much. Im really glad to hear it. Ill make sure he knows!! Believe it or not, it is rare that a customer takes the time to tell us. We all really appreciate it.
We work hard to make cool stuff and to set in motion a good vibe but it is truly our people (and only our people) who can make us great. We are very grateful for all of our awesome Sacrs....many are truly exceptional I think. Its nice to know.

Hey Shawn,
I really don't know if this is the correct outlet to do so but my wife and I just bought about $4k in furniture from the lovesac in Columbia mall (Maryland) and we just wanted to say what a wonderful experience it was! It was mostly due in part to the great salesmanship of your employee Craig Groat. He was truly terrific to work with and answered the million questions we had about the furniture. We are very pleased. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks!
