Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.
Michael Jordan
Above is a one of my famous road photos of my last night’s “frontline” visit with the entire Atlanta market. (Except for Scott who had his wipers stolen in the parking lot of MOG, tried to make it anyway, and, well...didn’t—love you man).
We have very recently attracted a lot of new and extremely outsized talent to the market (and so many others as well). I am so excited to see what a group like this can do. No doubt, each store in Atlanta is in for some big results in the immediate future. But as the champion of champions, MJ, states above: talent is critical, but it is still not enough. Any one of the best of our Sac’rs can no doubt close a sale, wrangle a walk-out into a Sac sit or demo, or pull together the most amazing collection of fabrics and accessories to build a customized quote. But to have real, sustained, and replicable success requires more. If you are one of Lovesac’s finest (or believe you are) first of all: THANK YOU FOR BEING WITH US!
But please ask yourself these questions, just to check yourself: Do I elevate the game of those around me as well? Do I inspire teamwork? Is my entire team working as SMART as we could be?
If you are, in fact, one of our best and brightest, then there is no doubt that you can figure out how do elevate and inspire others on your team regardless of what your title is, besides just contributing on your own.
We are more interested in winning the championship, than we are at winning any one game.
Make it happen. Together.
